Our goal is to increase the number of people who have signed our petition in support of our cause. The higher the number of signatures, the better our campaign statistics will be. Our ultimate objective is to persuade the district board to vote in favor of eliminating MAP testing.

The movement was largely initiated by students. As students ourselves, we understand the difficulties of daily life as a student in this era. We all agree that MAP testing was a waste of time. The pressure is real and it affects students very much. We often panic when the word MAP is mentioned, as it is a standardized test and its purpose is to assess an individual's academic capacity. However, this is not the case, as students begin to experience an increased level of pressure which leads to lower scores. However, the increase in testing this year has placed a greater strain on students' mental health while simultaneously reducing class time, leading to lower scores and a decrease in student confidence. Students should be studying for their final exams, rather than spending time on a test that will not lead to success in life.
